Born in North Jersey, Tom found his passion for filmmaking in all aspects at a very early age. From his eccentric demeanor, to his positive attitude in getting the job done, his passion has always driven him to never settle and always strive for the very best he can do. Having his Bachelor's in Editing from "School of Visual Arts" in New York, and six years in the Marine Corps Reserves, he has developed a sense of discipline and workmanship that makes his work ethic unique in the industry. He strives to know as much as possible, and expand his craft and knowledge in filmmaking in all stages of production. Attention to detail, solid decision making, and always pushing himself to do better are his strongest points in any job he does.

New York, NY February 2008 – April 2008 Assistant Editor Worked as an assistant editor and editor using Final Cut Pro. Dealing with web media content, primary responsibilities included transcoding, editing, and online finishing of videography for web distribution.


Avid Workshop
School of Visual Arts, New York, NY September 2008 – August 2009 Lab Assistant Assited with troubleshooting of technical isses on Mac based platforms of Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media Composer systems. Maintained the lab, and assisting students in the finishing of their work and applying my knowledge helping them with their issues. Assisted with systems overhaul and upgrades of the lab. Including a Unity System, construction and hardware upgrades of over 15 Mac Pros, a Symphony Nitris System, two Nitris DS systems, and a Mojo DX system. Job included software research, installations, and hardware configurations for rack rooms.
